If your kids are feeling inspired (or you are – we know we will be), and interested in writing a letter to an athlete, a note is a simple, meaningful way to say ‘we’re proud of you and we’re cheering you on from Michigan.’
Here’s how to contact Team USA athletes through their official sport organizations.
General Tips Before You Send
Always include the athlete’s full name on the letter or envelope.
Use a clear return address if you hope for a reply.
Check each sport’s fan-mail guidelines, some prefer email submissions or fan-mail forms.

Some orgs may not publicly list fan mail addresses but offer contact forms which are great for:
- Asking if they forward fan mail
- Requesting athlete bios
