 Wharton Center for Performing Arts has officially announced its 2026–2027 Performing Arts Season, and it is one Greater Lansing families will not want to miss.

Celebrating its 45th anniversary, this upcoming season brings an exciting mix of world-renowned performers, Broadway favorites, family-friendly shows, and meaningful connections to the local community.

We recently had the chance to learn more about the season from Executive Director Eric Olmscheid, and it is clear this lineup was thoughtfully curated with something for everyone!

✨ A Season That Honors the Past and Looks Ahead

“As we launch our 45th anniversary season, the lineup reflects both where we’ve been and where we’re going,” shared Olmscheid.

This season features globally recognized artists alongside emerging voices, all bringing the very best of the performing arts right here to East Lansing.

Even better, there are several meaningful Michigan connections woven throughout the season, making it feel even more special for our local community!
