It is Veterans Day and we are sharing something a little different
An area social studies teacher asked for veterans who would be willing to make a short video of themselves answering “what does being a veteran mean to you?” The main purpose was to have students connect with veterans in the community and understand why Veterans Day is an important holiday. The social studies lesson on Veterans Day would include the veteran’s interviews.
