Looking for a girls’ night out, date night, or a fun outing with your teen? & Juliet is coming to Wharton Center June 23–28, and we had the opportunity to chat with Kathryn Allison, who plays Angelique, about the show, life on tour, and why audiences can’t get enough of this hilarious and empowering musical!

During our conversation, Kathryn talked about life on tour, her connection to the character of Angelique, and why the show’s message of self-discovery and second chances resonates with audiences of all ages.
And of course, the music is a huge part of the fun. You’ll hear chart-topping songs like “Since U Been Gone,” “Roar,” “Baby One More Time,” “Can’t Stop the Feeling!,” and many more, all woven into a story that will have you singing along and cheering from your seat.
We also loved hearing Kathryn’s advice for young theatre students. She encouraged aspiring performers to keep learning, keep practicing, and take advantage of every opportunity to get on stage!
Kathryn also shared a YouTube video of one of her performances, and after watching it, it’s easy to understand why audiences are captivated by her talent. Her powerful voice left us even more excited to see her bring Angelique to life when & Juliet arrives at Wharton Center June 23–28.
