Great Pumpkin Walk – Downtown East Lansing
The 2022 Great Pumpkin Walk will take place on Sunday, October 23 from 1-4 p.m. Families can bring their costumed children to downtown East Lansing to trick-or-treat with more than 25 participating downtown businesses.
🎃 🎃 Albert street will be closed for the duration of the event 🎃 🎃
While there is no official starting point for the event, attendees are encouraged to pick up a free pumpkin from either William B. Sharp Park, located at the corner of Abbot Road and Albert Avenue, or from the 500-block pedestrian alleyway at 139 Bailey Street.
Your very own, Greater Lansing Area Mummies will be in the heart of it! Be sure to come and say hello, grab some treats and have a TON OF FUN! We may even have a Mummy backdrop for your Halloween costume photographs!
🎃 Be sure to grab a pumpkin for pumpkin painting
🎃 A caricature artist will be onsite to get a extra special drawing of how you are disguised (in costume)
🎃 The HopCat cat will be out and about
🎃Get your photo taken with princesses and superheroes from Royal Encounters MSU
🎃 Live music by indie rock band Pretty Jane & the Magazines at Ann Street Plaza, located at the corner of Albert and M.A.C. avenues, from 1:30-3 p.m.
🎃 Wild Goose Inn at 512 Albert Ave. will transform into the Land of Oz from 2-4 p.m. (this is the 11th year making this amazing transformation).
