
Great Pumpkin Walk – Downtown East Lansing
The 2025 Great Pumpkin Walk will take place on Sunday, October 26 from 1-4pm
Families can bring their costumed children to downtown East Lansing to trick-or-treat with more than 30 participating downtown businesses.
🍭More than 3️⃣0️⃣ participating downtown businesses will be passing out treats!
🎃 Pumpkin decorating with GLAMoms (come say hello 👋🏻!) at Bill Sharp Park on the corner of Albert and Abbot Road! We will have treats too 😍
🎃 Return of the 2️⃣6️⃣-foot-tall GREAT PUMPKIN on the Ann St. Plaza stage
🚓🚒👑 Albert Avenue between Grove Street and M.A.C. Avenue will be closed for a juggler and stilt walker during the three-hour event. The East Lansing Police Department and East Lansing Fire Department will also be set up in this area to give children and their families a chance to meet with first responders and interact with their emergency vehicles.
🦁 For the 14th year, Wild Goose Inn at 512 Albert Ave. will also be transforming into the Land of Oz for trick-or-treaters from 2-4 p.m.
🌽 Be sure to check out the East Lansing Farmers Market at Valley Court Park from 10:00am-2:00pm.
Sundays are FREE parking! Can’t wait to see you and your festive costumes, October 27th!

Safe Halloween is an annual event in which MSU Fraternity & Sorority Life hosts a street carnival with various Halloween activities for children to enjoy along M.A.C. Avenue, between Burcham Drive and Elizabeth Street. Learn more.
TRICK-OR-TREATING ON HALLOWEEN NIGHT
Trick-or-treating hours in East Lansing’s neighborhoods are from 6-8 p.m. on Halloween night (Oct. 31) each year.
