CHAIRLIFT RIDES!
This is one of GLAMoms favorite ways to see the changing colors and amazing scenery! Starting October 7th, Shanty Creek Resort is offering chair lift rides on Saturday AND Sundays. Each chair holds up to 4 people and be sure to bring your camera to capture the stunning views! Book your tickets NOW, this will sell out!
HIKING AND BIKING
Just a short distance from Shanty Creek Resort you will find Glacial Hills – over 31 miles of mountain biking and hiking trails. Visitors come from all over to visit these trails! There are levels for every ability and the colors will be spectacular this time of year. Just be prepared with extra shoes if it’s muddy!
Grass River Natural Area offers 7 miles of trails over 1400 acres of nature preserve, but 1.5 miles are a boardwalk that is easier with little ones! You never know what you might see: otters, loons, swans, owls, frogs, wildflowers and more! The Grass River Center is open year round, 10am -4pm thru October and weekend hours only, November through April.
DOWNTOWN BELLAIRE
“Bellaire is Fresh Air” with plenty of options for your entire family. The cutest town with so much to do and home to one of the most famous Michigan breweries (a GLAMom favorite!) Short’s BrewPub. Check out their new outdoor Beer Garden, kids are welcome!
