FALCONERS Sensory-Friendly Family Events at Potter Park Zoo
FALCONERS offers monthly sensory-friendly events in Lansing, Michigan designed for children and adults of all ages with special needs and unique abilities, including autism and developmental disabilities, along with their families and support groups.
Events provide a safe, welcoming, and inclusive environment with enriching educational experiences.
Many events feature hands-on activities, along with special sensory-friendly nights such as Boo at the Zoo and Wonderland of Lights.
Guests visiting Potter Park Zoo can prepare in advance by using the zoo’s Sensory Map, which highlights quiet areas, sensory bag checkout locations, and designated headphone zones. Sensory maps are also included in the zoo’s sensory bags, available in limited quantities.

Registration opens approximately one month before each event.
