Did you know … wearing a bike helmet while riding a bicycle can reduce the risk of head injuries by 85% (thanks to the Children’s Safety Network for those stats!).
But here’s the scary part—only about 15% of kids 14 and under wear helmets while biking.
Let’s change that!
Bring your child to the free **LIDS FOR KIDS** community event on Saturday, May 16, at the beautiful Frances Park in Lansing. Get your child a FREE properly fitted helmet, learn about bike safety, enjoy hands-on activities and giveaways—and while you’re there, enter your child for a chance to WIN a bicycle!
