ePIFanyNow’s Day of Kindness! Join us at 4pm on May 3rd! | Greater Lansing Area Moms

Each year ePIFanyNow™ organizes a large group of people to come together and celebrate the power of kindness. The mission of ePIFanyNow™ is to create a revolution of positive transformational experiences through exponential acts of kindness.

ePIFanyNow™ brings the Lansing community together to celebrate a Day of Kindness!

A day dedicated to transforming the community through the power of passing kindness forward is just around the corner, as mid-Michigan nonprofit ePIFanyNow™ prepares to host its first-ever Day of Kindness on Friday, May 3, 2024, ending in a community celebration at the Capital Region International Airport.

ePIFanyNow™ is teaming up with local organizations to support five amazing nonprofits making a difference in the Greater Lansing community: The Davies Project, Mitten Misfits, Jackson Michigan, Giving Back, YMCA of Metropolitan Lansing and Child and Family Charities. Volunteers from Granger Construction, Christman Construction, Dart Foundation and MSUFCU will take on essential projects, ranging from painting, planting flowers, mulching gardens, or rejuvenating spaces for the spring season. Every task is meant to leave a lasting impression, creating a ripple effect of kindness throughout the region.

Each nonprofit will also receive more than $500 from ePIFanyNow™ to use toward their project, thanks to Day of Kindness’ generous sponsors. They include MSUFCU, Capital Region International Airport, Foster Swift, Scripps, WSYM FOX 47, One North Kitchen and Bar, and mConnexions. Additional sponsors are welcome.

The community is invited to join the celebration with ePIFanyNow™, the nonprofits and their volunteers from 4 p.m. – 6 p.m. on Friday, May 3 in the Friendship Room at the Capital Region International Airport. People are encouraged to bring their families, friends and neighbors to recognize the day’s collective achievements, share stories and honor the impact of kindness and community. The festivities are free of charge, including parking and food.

During the evening event, the ePIFanyNow™ Chris Rosati Hero Award will also be presented. This year’s recipient is Mark Howell, founder of Brighton-based nonprofit Fund a Life. Since launching Fund a Life in 2017, Howell and his team have given away more than $1 million in grants to individuals and families in Michigan facing overwhelming obstacles of all kinds.

“We aim to make May 3, 2024, a day to remember; a day where kindness takes center stage and illuminates our community with hope, compassion and joy,” says Bob Hoffman, founder of ePIFanyNow™.

“Together, we can create a brighter, kinder world.”

People are strongly encouraged to RSVP for the evening celebration.
