October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month!
This October, Greater Lansing and beyond comes together to honor survivors, support those currently battling breast cancer, and raise awareness about early detection and research. From inspiring walks and fun community events, there are plenty of ways to get involved.
We’ve rounded up Breast Cancer Awareness Month events happening around Greater Lansing, so you can mark your calendar, join the fun, and make an impact this October.
🎀 Breast Cancer and Domestic Violence Walk
Date: October 11, 2025
Location: Lansing Mall
Details: A community walk raising awareness for both breast cancer and domestic violence.
🎀 Making Strides Against Breast Cancer – Lansing
Date: October 18, 2025
Location: MI State Capitol
Details: This non-competitive walk brought the community together to honor survivors and raise funds for breast cancer research. Participants walked through downtown Lansing, showing solidarity and support for those affected by breast cancer.
🎀 Train with a Purpose at F45 East Lansing
Date: October 25, 2025
Location: F45 East Lansing, 2650 E Grand River Ave, East Lansing

🎀 Think Pink Round Robin
Date: October 25–26, 2025
Location: Court One North Athletic Club, 1609 Lake Lansing Rd, Lansing
Details: A very special day on the courts, where pickleball meets purpose. This event is more than just competition; it’s a celebration of strength, resilience, and community. Keep your best pink outfit ready! Hidden event staff will be around snapping candid photos of our most creative and spirited dressers. Whether male or female, the Best Dressed in Pink will win a special prize. A portion of proceeds will be donated to the Sparrow Foundation to support breast cancer care at the Herbert-Herman Cancer Center in Lansing.
