GLAMoms was recently invited to a behind-the-scenes rehearsal of the musical In Pieces, and what an incredible experience it was! This thought-provoking and captivating musical is coming to the Pasant Theatre at Wharton Center starting today through the weekend.
In Pieces tells the story of six people as they reflect on their journeys, stories, experiences, and relationships before deciding on their future paths.

This musical is a collaboration between Wharton Center Institute for Arts and Creativity and MSU College of Arts and Letters Department of Theatre. This exciting program brings together accomplished Broadway professionals and talented MSU students. GLAMoms was over the top impressed with the talent on stage!
In Pieces has received international acclaim, with over two million streams and a growing social media presence, featuring performances in Singapore, Australia, London, and across the United States.
We spoke with the three-time Jonathan Larson Grant Finalist writer, composer and author of In Pieces, Joey Contreras and he shared,” This is a love story about the people you don’t end up with. It’s full of high highs and low lows. It made you stronger, it made you who you are, and brought you to the next step. And East Lansing is getting the first peak of this show!”
