Saw a variation of this idea a couple years ago and decided to give it a try! A bandage cookie – Bandaids – YUCK! Yet so fun!
It was not at all difficult.
It was an assembly line sort of task and the kids had fun as they watched the transformation to an edible version of a bloody bandage.
Perfect for Halloween! The kids at school enjoyed it too!
Here is what you will need:
🩹 1 package of vanilla wafers (rectangles)
💀 White Frosting (we used store bought)
🩸 Red gel frosting (ours had sparkles because that was all we could find)
“File” the corners off of the edges of the cookie
Create a square of white frosting in the center of the shaped wafer cookie
Add a bit of the gel food coloring
We let the cookies sit out for about an hour before placing them on a plate decorated with gauze and Band-aids (both unused and straight from the box, of course).
Enjoy!
