We asked followers what sort of resources were needed in the area. In response to an assortment of responses, we will begin with the 2021 Home Guide.
We too saw the need for a collection of local experts who call Greater Lansing Area home. A group of professionals who reside in our area, who are familiar with the school districts, local offerings, attractions and like us, are hyper-local.
We will add other home inspired industries as the summer progresses. If you have any suggestions, please share.
The Greater Lansing Area is full of possibility and a wonderful place to call home. We hope you find this helpful.
A huge thank you to our generous sponsor, Elite Home Selling.
We also want to thank watercolor artist Jane Falion for the custom map she created especially for this project. We are grateful for her beautiful contribution and detailed knowledge of the Greater Lansing Area.
And great news – the map is offered as a print available for purchase – and part of the proceeds will be donated the Food Pantry run by First Presbyterian Church of Lansing.

My name is Kate Gingery and I am a local realtor with Century 21 Looking Glass. I am also a wife and a mama. My husband, Ryan, and I have four girls ages 9, 7, 5 and 5. And yes, the last two are twins 🙂 Why did I get into real estate? Years ago, my husband and I had several lousy experiences with realtors. These agents took days to get back to us on offers, were not responsive and honestly, it didn’t seem like they cared. My thought was “I want to take great care of people!” So, I have set out to do just that. My heart for customer service, connecting with people and our personal experience with purchasing and renovating 4 homes has made being a real estate professional a great fit. I am so grateful for the opportunity to serve people in my community as they trust me to help them buy and sell in Greater Lansing.
Kristin Keiswetter Clark
When it comes to buying or selling a home, you need a friend and neighbor just as much as you need a realtor. My clients have had real estate goals that vary from finding a dream home, wanting extra income from an investment property, the smooth sale of an inherited house, relocating following a divorce and needing to create new memories, to the smooth sale of an inherited property among others. My individualized and thoughtful approach allows you to focus on your dreams and goals. Meanwhile, behind the scenes, I take care of the nitty gritty and do the heavy lifting. I use market data, social connections, my vast network of reliable contractors and staging resources, and arrange the best negotiation and sale possible. Working with a sincere and helpful real estate agent allows you to focus on the all of the possibilities while I take care of the details.

My name is Kristin Krieger and I am a Realtor with Coldwell Banker Frewen Realty. My family and I live in Portland, which is halfway between Lansing and Grand Rapids, giving me an awesome opportunity to belong to both associations of Realtors. I work mostly in the Greater Lansing area, but am willing to travel anywhere in Michigan if that is what best fits my clients’ needs. I have always loved Real Estate, and feel fortunate to be working in one of the most competitive market’s ever. I enjoy helping my clients navigate through the buying and/or selling process, and am so grateful that they trust me to guide them through such a meaningful transaction.
I am a lifelong area resident. I have a son, Charlie and daughter, Jillian who are Haslett high school and middle school students respectively. We live in East Lansing with our dog, Winston. I graduated from MSU in 2002 and began my career in Real Estate in 2004. I have a business Partner, Michelle Lycos and together we consistently sell over 20 million dollars in real estate each year. My business is over 95% referral driven. I am both both humbled and proud that my past clients and friends return to me for their real estate needs over and over again and entrust me with their own friends and family. Each time I meet a new client my goal is to serve in a way that they become my client for life. While most of my business is in Haslett, Okemos, Dewitt, and East Lansing I do cover most of our Tri-County vicinity. I am not only here for the purpose of facilitating selling or buying real state, but also as a resource for questions and concerns surrounding the market activity. Additionally, over the years I have become very well connected with many small business owners, vendors, and service providers and am happy to provide a referral when needed.
I’ve always loved houses and used to cover my school notebooks in drawings of houses. Today I’m lucky enough to work alongside my rockstar mom, Laura Smith, and help clients buy, sell, and navigate this crazy real estate market! Before I became a REMAX agent in 2016, I lived in Chicago and worked at a commercial real estate and property management company. Having kids brought my husband and I back to my hometown area so we could raise our family in this wonderful community. We love our East Lansing home and neighborhood and I really enjoy helping other people find and secure the homes they love too.
