All-of-Us Express, City of East Lansing – Department of Parks, Recreation & Arts

Summer drama camps are designed to put together a small performance on the final day of each camp. During the week, the participants will determine how they want to tell their story; this may involve using an existing script, or writing a new one of their own. Each performance will feature simplistic props, sets, and costumes that are needed to tell the story effectively. 

Two-week camps will offer longer scripts and musical numbers.

Camp Invention

Spark your kid’s creativity and build their confidence with our new Camp Invention® program.

Explore! When this nationally acclaimed program comes to your town, children in grades K-6 will collaborate with friends in hands-on, open-ended STEM adventures. They’ll dive into ocean research with their own robotic fish, develop inventions for space exploration, build a spinning robotic artist and design a mega marble arcade!

Eaton County Parks Summer Adventure Program

Get ready for an Adventure! Whether it’s playing, creating, or exploring, they have fun every day at our Summer Adventure Programs! They  offer programs for young outdoor enthusiasts that are 4-12 years old. 

Eaton County Parks is excited for our Leader-In-Training (LIT) program at Summer Adventure Program! This is an excellent opportunity for youth who are 13-14 years of age to develop leadership skills while becoming role models for young campers in a fun and engaging atmosphere.

Delta Dance Connection

Themed dance camps. Offerings for children ages 3-6 and 7-13.  Frozen, Trolls, Mermaid, Musical Theatre, and more! Daytime and evening offerings.

Daytime campers will experience dancing, crafts, story time, games and more! Evening campers will experience themed or focused dance explorations. Mini Camps will explore themed dance classes and a themed craft.

Goldfish Swim School – Okemos

Summer Goldfish Swim School – Okemos information will be coming soon.  But first – SPRING BREAK!  

Staying close to home for Spring Break this year? Goldfish Swim School has 90-degree pools that are the perfect escape for fun (and safe!) staycation break! While you enjoy our tropical atmosphere, your kids will be gaining valuable swim skills for all the trips you’ll take to pools and beaches over the summer.

Impression 5 Science Center

Learn about basic science in science-themed day camps! L.A.B.S. camps offer children hands-on experiences exploring scientific concepts through interactive experimentation, challenges, artistic expression, and play. These camps are designed to pique your child’s interest in the world around them, encourage curiosity and creativity, and celebrate new discoveries each day.

Interlochen Arts Camp

Interlochen Arts Camp offers world-renowned summer arts programs that encourage emerging young artists to explore and refine their artistic passion.

Here, students will do what they love all day long – in the most beautiful place imaginable. From cabin games to exploring the outdoors, students will experience all the fun of summer camp while practicing, performing, and making art. Young creatives ages 8-18 convene at Interlochen to expand their capacity in music, theatre, dance, creative writing, visual arts, and film. Spark creativity, forge friendships, and find adventure at Interlochen Arts Camp.

Potter Park Zoo

Potter Park Zoo has you covered with the wildest weeks of programming available in Michigan!

Zookambi has 7 weeks of camp for students entering 1st -7th grade in the fall. All Potter Park Zoo programs run Monday through Friday. Zookambi kids can attend in the morning (9:00-12:00), afternoon (1:00-4:00), or all day!

All sessions will have a snack provided. If your child is enrolled in both morning and afternoon classes, lunchtime supervision is provided by zoo staff. All you have to do is pack a lunch for your kids!

Need a little extra time? No problem! Potter Park Zookambi has early drop off and late pick up available.

School of Rock East Lansing

Do you want to learn how to play in a band or learn to write songs? School of Rock East Lansing offers a wide variety of music camps and workshops that cover topics such as these. Their  local music camps are perfect for musicians of any skill level who want to play guitar, bass, drums, keyboard and vocals.

Soccer Kickers LLC

Soccer Kickers four-day camps are open to players ages 5-15. They will divide players based on skills level and age.

They will cover a variety of topics such as proper way to dribble, pass, trap, shoot etc.. They will focus on technical, tactical, and mental training.

At the end of the camp, each camper will be able to understand the difference between attacking, defending and most importantly why passing and first touch are so important in soccer.

Soccer Kickers instruction will focus on 1 v 1 situation.

The camp will be taught by Soccer Kickers staff, a former professional soccer player and a current assistant coach at Great Lakes Christian College women’s and men’s team coach Gregory Louis.
