For Artists 10+: Artists and book lovers—Create and compete in our 2nd annual “Tiny Art Show”! This year’s Tiny Art Show theme: “The Classics”.
Participants will create art that in some way depicts a scene from “classic” book. It can be a children’s book like Alice in Wonderland or Adult book like Lord of the Rings. The idea is to make something that is instantly recognizable (thus, a classic).
Pick up your Tiny Art Kit at the library (4”x4” canvas, 6 paint pots, and two brushes) starting Feb 1 – First come first served, while supplies last. Bring in your finished art by Feb. 27 for display and People’s Choice voting in March! Participants take home their paintings after April1- by April 7, 2023.
Please note: This program does not require registration ONLINE as kits are first come first served at the library (while supplies last) starting the morning of Feb 1st. Upon picking up your kit, you will need to fill out a registration form at the desk so we can have your information to remind you about due dates. Please only pick up a Tiny Art Show kit if you fully intend to participate in March’s Tiny Art Show. Ages 10+
