You’re invited to join us on September 30th, 9 AM – 2 PM for the 2021 Farmers Market at the Capitol! The mission of the Farmers Markets at the Capitol is to provide a thriving marketplace that showcases Michigan food and agricultural products in an effort to educate our state decision-makers on the importance of supporting farmers, ag-based businesses, and farmers markets.
Vendors travel from all over the state of Michigan to attend the Farmers Market at the Capitol. Their products vary from fruits and vegetables to artisan cheeses, eggs, meat, sauces, baked goods, apples, cider, donuts, pies, spice rubs, jams, fish, chocolates and caramels, soap, honey, beeswax products, popcorn and kettle corn, maple syrup, dog treats, and cut flowers.
The market accepts SNAP Bridge Cards, Double Up Food Bucks, WIC Project FRESH, and Senior Project FRESH/Market FRESH.
Please note that the Farmers Market at the Capitol will be complying with all State of Michigan and MIFMA COVID-19 regulations.
The Michigan Farmers Market Association reserves the right to ask any patron to exit the market if they do not comply with these regulations.
The safety of our vendors, staff, volunteers, and patrons is our top priority. MIFMA reserves the right to cancel the event at any time. We will do everything in our power to provide a timely update if there is a need to cancel the market.
