The later French Occupation left many rich historical sights to explore. It is also worthwhile to experience the cultural diversity of the people living there.

It is a visit by two friends Carol Gnich and Pat Tomasik in 2011 which paints a very different picture by focusing on the natural beauty, cultural richness, welcoming spirit and rising energy of two nations recovering from tragic times. It will give the viewer a
broader and brighter version than one of war.
