๐ National Night Out, Touch-a-Truck ๐

The City of East Lansing’s 2022 National Night Out, Touch-a-Truck event will take place on Tuesday, Aug. 2 from 6-8 p.m. at the East Lansing Public Library (ELPL), 950 Abbot Road.
This popular, annual event offers free fun for the entire family, while promoting community safety and awareness. It is co-hosted by ELPL and the East Lansing Police Department.
This year’s event will include plenty of vehicles for children to explore (a fire truck, ambulance, police vehicles, recycling truck, etc.) interaction with local police officers and firefighters, police K9s, ELPL’s Library on the Go, bike registration, bubbles, sidewalk chalk, snacks and more!
The library and parking lot will close at 5 p.m. to prepare for this all-ages community celebration. Parking for the event will be available on side streets and at the East Lansing Hannah Community Center, 819 Abbot Road. The event is free and open to all community members. No registration required!
Note – Parking information: Parking for the event will be available on side streets as well as at All Saints Episcopal Church, 800 Abbot Road, and the Alpha Xi Delta Sorority, 855 Grove St. Some limited parking will also be available at the East Lansing Hannah Community Center (ELHCC), 819 Abbot Road; however, there will be Election Day activity at the ELHCC, so the other parking locations are recommended.ย
