Meridian Sun Golf Club

1018 Haslett Road, Haslett

At Meridian Sun Golf Club, the mission is simple: we aren’t just teaching kids how to hit a ball; we’re growing the next generation of confident, resilient individuals. Our Junior Golf Academy is recognized as one of Michigan’s premier developmental programs, moving away from “boring” drills and toward an athletic-based curriculum that feels like play.

The journey starts at the Tees for Tots level, where children as young as three use oversized clubs and colorful targets to build hand-eye coordination in a safe, high-energy environment. As they grow, they move into our Operation 36 Academy, a revolutionary program that gets kids on the course immediately. Instead of the frustration of starting from the back tees, we start them 25 yards from the hole. Once they shoot a 36, they move back, providing a clear, rewarding path to mastery.

From summer Half-Day Camps to the competitive thrill of our Junior Club Championship, Meridian Sun offers a community where technology (and screens) are traded for fresh air and friendship. Under the guidance of a PGA Professional, your child won’t just learn a “life sport”—they’ll find a second home on the fairway.

At CranHill, camp is more than a week of fun, it’s a place where lives are changed! For more than 50 years, our mission has been simple: transforming lives into the Image of Christ. Everything we do, from games and activities to chapel and cabin conversations, is built around that central purpose.

The quality of our staff is another thing that sets CranHill apart. Each counselor and activity leader is carefully selected and trained extensively before camp begins. Our staff, whether local or from countries around the world, feel a genuine calling to invest in the lives of young people. Their leadership and guidance helps create a safe, encouraging environment where campers feel known and valued.

CranHill offers a wide range of camp programs so every camper can find an experience that fits their interests. From day camps for younger campers to specialty camps focused on adventure, horsemanship, or shooting sports, there’s an option for every camper to grow in their interests and try new things.
